Monday night dinner
I'm sorry we're out! We heard this phrase over and over again at the HUC-JIR annual Monday night dinner at a local kosher deli (which shall remain nameless). No Boston beers, hardly any other beers (did you notice what the first priority was?), no hard salami, only one cup (not bowl) of soup, and ribs that the waiter recommended that we avoid. Oh well, the company was good!
As you know, our own Laurel Wolfson is the President-elect of AJL. My major agenda item for the dinner was to find some juicy embarrassing story to share about Laurel (after all, what are long time co-workers for?) After the beer finally arrived, the stories started flowing. The best by far was the time that Laurel ws aslkv asdjhav and then aslkjfalsvf ad well! Asdlks lkfdal of course aslkdfjl akfg e;grirn fcfkjf at the end aslkduv as. Lskdfl. I certainly couldn't top that one! Good luck Laurel!
