Jewish Libraries/Southwest Flavors
The Association of Jewish Libraries, Inc. held its 42nd annual
convention in Phoenix, Arizona on June 17 - 20, 2007.
Librarians, archivists, and scholars from numerous disciplines
met to share their interests in Judaica librarianship and related
areas.
This year's keynote address, by Jonathan
Kirsch, was entitled "Animal Skins and God's Bones: How
the Making and Keeping of Books has Enriched the World and Ensured
the Survival of the Jewish People."
