How to Join
Print out the membership form and
mail it, along with your check for membership dues drawn on a U.S. bank,
payable to the Association of Jewish Libraries. You may also take advantage
of the credit card payment option through PayPal,
but make sure to print out and mail the membership
form.

Paying
with credit cards using PayPal
- New members, please print and fill out the AJL
membership form. Renewing members, please use
the renewal form that was mailed to you (if you have not received a
renewal form, contact Yossi Galron,
vice-president for membership).
- One-year memberships (personal or organizational) are $50 + $2 processing
fee in North America and $65 + $2 processing fee for members in other
countries. After you read the rest
of these instructions (not yet!), click on the link below
to open a PayPal page that has been customized for the Association of
Jewish Libraries.
- On the PayPal page, if you already have a PayPal account, sign in.
If you do not already have a PayPal account, create one by following
the PayPal instructions. Instructions differ depending upon whether
you are in the United States or in another country. People outside the
U.S. may need to return to this instruction page (by using your browser's
"Back" button) after creating a PayPal account before continuing.
- Enter the information required by PayPal. In addition, renewing
members, please enter your AJL membership number (which is found
on the renewal form you received in the mail) following "Special
Instructions" on the PayPal page. Then click on the "Submit
to Secure Server" button. The dues will automatically be converted
by your credit card company into your local currency.
- When your transaction is complete, you will receive an e-mail confirmation
from PayPal, including your subscription number. Write
the subscription number on your printed renewal or membership
form. It is important that you mail us your membership
or renewal form with the subscription number on it so that we can confirm
that you paid by PayPal and won't look for a check in the envelope.
[AJL will also receive a confirmation of your payment from PayPal via
e-mail].
- Mail the completed membership or renewal form to Yossi Galron at
the address on the form. Write your PayPal
subscription number on the form. For questions

- OK, now you are ready to go!
