Jewish Book Month is an annual event dedicated to the celebration of Jewish books. It is observed during the month preceding Hanukkah. Each year, just before Jewish Book Month begins, librarians from the AJL Greater Cleveland Chapter and in some years, from the AJL Southern California Chapter, compile recommended reading lists for adults and for children and teens.
